How protective clothing is put on and taken off

Dress instructions

1. The protective clothing must be inspected and air pressure tested to determine that there are no defects, and the protective clothing must be selected according to the purpose.

2. If necessary, however, antifogging agent should be applied to the inside of the goggles of the protective clothing in accordance with the recommended instructions.

3. Choose a two-person "co-op," that is, one person helps out while wearing protective clothing.

4. Underwear should be worn under protective clothing, at a minimum, long sleeves and pants, or long "underwear" is recommended. Refractory underwear should be considered.

5. Remove personal items that may damage the protective clothing, such as pens, badges, jewelry, etc.

6. Remove shoes (this step can be eliminated when wearing a protective suit with long rubber boots). Some long rubber boots do not allow outdoor footwear.

7. Pull the pant legs into the stockings so that the pant legs of the protective clothing and the long rubber boots can be easily put on.

8. If a self-contained air breathing device is used, check and install the device, complete all connections, adjust according to the manufacturer's requirements, unless the breathing device requires, do not wear a mask.

9. If the breathing tube air supply system is used, check and complete all connections and adjustments, and do not wear a mask unless required by the breathing device.

10. Sit with both legs in protective clothing.

11. Put both feet into the jacket boots and pull the splash guard off the top of the boots. (Note: Work boots should be 1 to 2 sizes larger than the boots normally worn, so that there is enough room to fit the protective clothing boot into the boot.)

12. Open the air supply device, put on the mask, and make sure that the air supply system works normally

13. Stand up and put on your inner belt, if you have one.

14. Place arms and head in protective clothing, zip up, then close the zip to cover.

15. Please ask the assistant to check whether the zipper and zipper cover are fully tightened, whether the mask field of vision is clear, whether all air lines are tightly engaged, and whether the protective clothing is in better working condition.

Unpacking instructions

Follow these steps to remove protective clothing:

1. Leave the work site or "hot area" when there is enough air in the protective clothing to safely remove the contamination and remove the protective clothing in time.

2. If the protective clothing has been exposed to toxic chemicals, properly detoxify the clothing before removing it.

3. Take off the protective clothing in the reverse order of putting on the protective clothing. Do not touch the parts of the protective clothing that may be stained with chemicals.

4. If possible, detoxify, clean, inspect and air pressure test protective clothing for re-use.

5. If it is not possible to detoxify the protective clothing, the protective clothing should be discarded in a safe way.
